I need someones experience here....

Before kitchen re-fit heating was fine. Flushed system with x800 (ran hot for 1 hour 3x then flushed out several times). Moved pipework to kitchen rad.

Now pump is working but no heat at any downstairs rads. System and pump are old i'm guessing over 20, pump has been running on full speed for years.

I want to be sure a new pump will fix this, and understand how I buggered it up?

What replacement is recommended. I have a Grundfos Selectric (UPS 15-50) with 3 speeds?

I had assume assured heating you weren't refering to air in pump but pipework?

I think there were two air locks in the pipework?

What was confusing was the downstairs rads are on 2 different legs to front and back of house and with many changes over the years never had a single air lock before. So

bottom filled system from mains water which got the rear rads working but not front, so isolated front rads (2 small rads) which pump seemed to clear.

Kevplumb so I know for next time how would air in the pump affect the system?

Cheers all.
