hi there my computer has just started to switch off suddenly the tower is still working but the moniter switches of sometimes it happens straight away and i have to keep crashing it other times it can be five or ten minutes clean all dust out and checked all memory cards are in correcetly any help please

Is the monitor wired via the PSU of the computer, or wired directly to the plug? Maybe a kettle lead directly to the monitor would resolve issues?
What is the monitor, and do you have a video card installed in the computer?

I the monitor is powered from the base - be aware that e-machines have a history of power supply failures (such that they take out the motherboard and other components).
