a song in the early 70's that started with the words;

♪When I was a little bitty baby
my mama would rock me in the cradle,
in them old, cotton fields back home...♪

Thought it was the Beach Boys but can't find it when I search them.
Another was Credence Clearwater Revival but again I drew a blank.

Anyone got any ideas please?
