The drillers have just made it through to the trapped miners in Chile.

700m in 65 days. This type of rescue has only been done twice before but never this deep.

Its still not over, but great news.

At the moment its so near but yet so far.Who's going to have the mental bottle to say in which order the miners will be lifted out,not some decision to be taken lightly nor one to be shirked.
 
Oompah. My wife informs me that they have already got the order sorted. Apparently one of the rescuers is going down to help the miners into the cage.

Any volunteers ?
 
Hmmm....65 days.
I wonder what they did to past the time down there.

Would people fight and argue all the time ?
Would they devise some form of evening entertainment ?
Would they be tempted into homosexual activity.......and if so, how would they decide upon the givers and receivers ?

Must be a mad world down there.
The possible scenarios are endless.

Breaking News,,,,,,,,,,,,, The Chilean miners have asked rescuers if the X Factor is still on !!!! After being told , it will be on for at least 5 more weeks, They have asked if they can be left down there until the winner has been announced. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
 
Princess Di would be happy - I'm sure she used to bang on about saving mines or something

I wonder whats the first thing they'll fancy when their out
