Help! I Kill my Accenta mini G3 (SOLVED)

Hi all

A few months ago when the technicians came to rewire the electrical system, they were leaving an "elbow" of wire about 1 inch off the ceiling, I always thought it would be a surplus of old phone line, so that when it was time to paint the lounge I remove the plaster to cut the cable and fix the issue!

The wire turned out to be a PIR , immediately I hear a sound from the Remote keypad, in which the "tamper" light was on, so I soldered the wires, which silence the alarm, but when I try to check that everything was fine, I have areas 2,3,4 lit and a bep-bep-bep bep.

I download the "Engineering Information" Manual but I still don't know best way to proceed.

You've blown the 'Aux fuse'. It's a little glass thing inside the main panel.

Is it possible to open the main panel, extract the 'Aux fuse' go shopping and fix the problem without get the alarm screaming for an hour?

If so, do I need to disconnect the mains? remove the battery? ...what is the procedure?

Open the panel. The alarm will sound inside only. Enter your code to shut it up. Take out the old fuse then replace with new fuse. Close lid and enter code to clear. There may be a spare fuse inside the panel. If you are not experienced in mains voltage pull the fuse tray out of the spur first.

I followed the recommended procedure, and found the offender fuse, (F3 1A - to protect the Speaker 13V supply in manual) unfortunately there is no spare fuse inside the panel.

So! I went shopping, return to repeat the procedure prescribed, and now everything works perfectly.
