Tax Wayne Rooney at 99% and the chancellor gains near 12 million a year. Thats a few jobs created.

But poor Wayne, wouldn't have any money left to spend on old wizened dried up grannies. ;)
Where would he find the £200 for a pack of twenty ciggies?.
What would Colleen do when she wanted some beauty treatment costing £££££thousands? ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

PS, Hows that a few jobs created ?? D Cameron is all for reducing jobs . ;) ;) ;)

It still leaves him with £2000.00 per week, and thats more than he is worth. If not jobs its a good bit towards the deficit.

Manchester brothels are celebrating the end of a recession having sealed an additional 5-year contract with a local businessman :D

Rooney's new deal is just obscene... you're average 40 hours a week worker would take 12 years to earn what Rooney picks up in seven days... and mr/s average wouldn't earn in a lifetime what Rooney will get through the whole of November this year !!!! Freakin disgrace...!!!

I know nowt about football (rugby man)

is this chap worth a quarter of a million notes a week??

is he that good at football??

Really interested to know

:)

Not only that the company that pays him is 'offshore' so the 200k he gets - he pays no tax on.

the bloke who earns nine million for his firm is worth it

the bloke who saves lives is worth it,

the bloke who invents the cure for cancer is worth it

loads of people are worth a mill a month (I modestly claimn to be one of them :) )

just ask footbal experts whether this chap can play football to justify the wage

:)

So everyone is unhappy with Rooney's pay, lets remember where the money comes from, the sad people that pay a fourtune to go to a football game have only themselfs to blame, if you get someone earning this kind of money, they only have to see his performance in South Africa, that he is laughing at you all the way to the bank

hi, interesting question... but the answer is pure economics and supply and demand... i can't change that.
Realistically, it's perhaps unfair to judge... as we know so little about how much people earn.. for example, what's George michael's income? or the mine owner of that mine in Chile? or any discredited celeb?

In real terms, i think a mill amonth would help so many people out of difficulties if spent correctly.... but then i suppose my 30grand a month would too.... but i do work 40 hours for that, not 90 minutes....

All that said, i think there should be some sort of cap....but it will never happen as long as people love their footie!!

What's your opinion on all this Foamit?
