i've been to about 10 gigs this year... plus 2 festivals, and 4 gigs in the last 9 days !...

Although I keep telling Mrs G that I hate DIY, I do find some aspects enjoyable shhh ;) .

TBH I've always been more into films than music.

Wishbone Ash at the Rescue Rooms Nottingham.

Biggest group I've seen were Queen at Bingley Hall in Stafford 1978 on the Bicycle Tour. ;) ;) ;)

sitting or standing? i think sitting gigs is ruining music... you have to stand at a gig dont you?

I think the definition of a gig is definately standing, maybe camping overnight.

Would a Radio 1 roadshow, where Wet Wet Wet perform live on stage, be classified as a gig though?

Travelled hundreds of miles, camped in the car, kind of gig?

As opposed to a 'gig' that I was supposed to attend, but I missed my lift, sitting down, to Chris Rea, and apparently a person sat all the way through the concert/gig, a guitarist, with his eyes shut, swaying to the music, and tapping his foot...surely that's like listening to the live CD? Waste of a ticket IMO.

i go to a fair few.

electric eel shock a few weeks back, fabulous as always but they were missing the drummer this time.

mudhoney a few weeks back too, their support was great too.

motorhead very very soon, it's an annual event now....fifth time in a row for me. :)
