Mira electric shower

Hello,

Ive got a Mira Zest electric shower, when i turn it off it contiues to run for about 30ish seconds. As it has always done this since i moved in im not sure wether this is normal or not. Any advice would be much appreciated.

My parent's shower does that. My guess is that it cools the heater element down so that the next person doesn't get scalded if they use it straight after you. Could be wrong though, as their shower only runs for about 10 seconds after switching off.
