I have just bought a set of winter tyres for my 07 plate punto grande. It currently has steel wheels and to save me having to pay for someone to change and rebalance the tyres every winter and again in spring I want to get 4 spare steel wheels that I can swap over on my own.

Do i just need to make sure I get a 15" wheel with the same bolt pattern? Or is there anything else I need to consider?

Any help much appreciated!

Yes you should be OK with the measurement between wheel stud centers

But the easiest thing would be to go for a 15 inch set from another Fiat.

Your local friendly breaker would be me first choice or

Thanks, yeah was going to try the local scrappy to see what they've got in, was just looking for a bit of clarity before i buy 4 wheels that I can't use!

The variables include wheel diameter, rim width, nunber of wheel studs, PCD (stud pitch circle diameter) and hub offset (how deeply dished the centre of the wheel is) and the diameter of the hole that fits over the hub.

If the hub details are wrong the wheel won't fit on the car. If the rim diameter, width or offset are wrong, the wheel may bolt on the hub OK, but foul the bodywork when the steering is turned.
