Hi, first time poster ... long time lurker.
I have the above mentioned boiler, condensate trap pipe froze, giving the L F fault, no problem, emptied out, still gives the same fault.

I presume there is a sensor somewhere to tell it that its full, could this be faulty? where the hell is is? can I hit it with a small hammer?

I'm bloody cold, heater man said he'd be here at 5pm and now I find out he ain't coming till after Christmas if I'm lucky.

Any help appreciated.

is the not a re-set button ?
did you drain it at the elbow under the boiler ?...ie are you sure its drained

Its drained, took the trap off, big pain in the arse, doesn't work even with the pipe completely removed.

It doesn't seem to have a reset button, I've switched it on and off at the wall, its been 2 days now since I drained it.
