Which CCTV??

Hi guys and merry christmas to you all, I'm sure this is probably asked all the time but i'm after a CCTV single camera to look over the rear of my house. Was thinking of wireless one but read some bad reviews so i'm a bit confused now. Its needs to pick up about 10 meters and was thinking of a motion detector. Any advice is welcome, thanks.

You'd probably be best buying a kit with a DVR and camera (s), if your after a cheap system you can get them from places like Maplin. And the DVR does the recording and motion dection.

Better systems for the money available.
And you don't want the DVR doing the motion detection for external - it picks up everything.

If you've got an old computer knocking about, install linux and zoneminder. All free, reliable and richly featured. All the cctv software you need.

can someone recommend a good CCTV system please? ideally im after two water proof external (infra red) camera's and two internal.
