Touching up paint on radiator cover

Bit of a problem, i.e. the wife is not amused...

I left an air freshener on top of a painter radiator cover ( came finished) and it has leaked and stripped the paint on an area over about 6 inches.

Best way to touch this up? It's almost like a plasticoat finish and the stripped area is noticeably lower than the surrounding area.

I think apply one more coat to the entire vicinity. Otherwise some color divergence will be observed.
