Hi people.

My airing cupboard door won't open because a clothes horse is stuck under the handle on the inside (why there needs to be a handle on the inside I don't know, but that's the situation).

I've tried taking the outside handle off in an attempt to bring the spindle out from the inside handle, but they are attach with a grub screw!!!!!

I can't see that there is anything else I can do with the hinges either.

Any other suggestions? Maybe these pictures will inspire an idea or two....

Thanks for any help offered,

try string and a piece of wire.
bend the wire into a U shape and tie the string to one end, feed it around the latch till you can grab both ends of the string and give it a pull.
hopefully that will open the door...

With the external handle off, bang the spindle to knock it and the internal handle off the door

Then fit a ball latch instead

Metal ruler, hammer it down the side by the latch to release catch.
Failing that cut off top or bottom of hinge pin with a hacksaw and tap out hinge pins.
