Hi, can anyone help my repointing, its terrible. I would love it if someone could offer any technique tips and practical tips when up a ladder.

Dear smudger.
If your pointing is crap , then it wont get any better when you are balancing up a ladder.
The only saving grace is that if its high up you might not be able to see it
Make sure your mortar is not too wet. Use building sand not sharp sand. Dampen (but not soak) the joints first. Rake out joints to 20mm
