With Royal wedding round the corner what will you be doing to support our monarchy, Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry on Friday 29 April at Westminster Abbey.
The Wedding countdown has started so let’s start talking about the good news and the prospect year 2011.
You can talk about almost any thing like the cost of the Wedding, the invitation, etc.

i am a Royalist and will accept the extra public holiday and will watch the wedding during my day off, please dont even attempt to slag me for this as it is my choice, however i would also like all the republicans amongst the British public and all the hangers on as well, to NOT accept the public holiday as a protest at the Royals, as they see fit to slag them at every other opportunity, it wont happen though, as people wont stand up for their views ad go to work will they? or perhaps some will prove me wrong

Did you know all the overseas flights are booked in April; I will be travelling on the tube to Buckingham Palace and staying there all day to support our future king, so lads make your mind up its not to late for that journey of the life time.

It wont affect me, I will work a bank holiday if required. Personally the Royals arn't my thing, I do enjoy the Royles however.

Our local council is giving advice on organising street parties. Lots of info on H&S, insurance, first aid, cooking meats, do's and don'ts etc. Seems like a right palaver .... and that's not including the street closure application and consultation forms with essential questions such as

What arrangements have been made for communications between event organisers? (Radio/Mobile phone)

What arrangements have been made for waste disposal?

Will you be holding a raffle or tombola?

Will you be having a BBQ?
Will there be music or other sound broadcast
Is any food or drink being served at the event

(Duh, its a party!)

I can just see some jobsworth rubbing his hands with glee when he gets to refuse the party or impose all the "necessary" rules

I remember the 1977 Jubilee when the people in our street just got their own tables and chairs out, no-one bothered to drive up the road, someone put his speakers out, and everyone just brought whatever food they had out, everyone chatted, no-one moaned, and everyone had a good time - and then everyone packed up and cleared up. No fuss no bother, no organisation

I can't see that happening in April for some reason

I'll watch the wedding and toast the couple ... even though I think Kate would be much happier with me rather than some young rich prince

Woody, I think your local council are aiming to get organisers to have a public entertainment license

more mindless b****x

2 over priviliged , un talented uninteresting people getting married

just another distraction from the country's problems that we have to PAY for

honestly do people still lap up this crap?

at this time this country needs a good news story but ill give it a year before we see them on jeremy kyle

This marriage is going to fail at some point. Another single mum on benefits. Another estranged Father in batman costume climbing up the walls of Buck Palace crying out to see his kids. Mum going off and sucking somebodies toe. Its going to happen so why bother. What a wasteful shame. I think she is one of the 'too skinny people' and will be in a clinic in a years time. Probably lives on a secret liquid diet and fags. They should make a sitcom about them. Should do well in USA. Good topic for discussion though because I'm a 'Get Real Royalist' or 'Who Are You Kiddding Royalist'. I do miss Spitting Image.

it will all end in tears, i hope she dose not end up dead in a car crash.

Future King?...Charlie and his Whore 'aint dead yet.

I wasn't invited so they can stuff it...It'll be another freebie dinner for Blair/Brown/Thatcher & Co...And lots and lots of overtime for the cops...

If you've a suntan, beard, and a backpack...not a good time to be walking round London in your jim jams.
