Here's one for you, pricing up a job on Saturday and the customer showed us that when they turned the hot tap on in the bathroom, water flowed from the kitchen mixer tap aswell but at a lot slower flow rate

Anyone have any ideas to why this might happen as I have never seen it before and have not investigated it yet.

nope it is closed and when you turn it on whilst the bathroom hot tap is running nothing happens, it just flows the same as if it was turned off.

It might be Holy Water because God only knows where it`s coming from

How about ceramic disc valve has been changed and they've put a cold one in the hot so tap is open when you think it's closed

Have seen this before it turned out to be the ceramic catridge.

Try the cartridge on the kitchen mixer.

We have just had similar.
switch in the kitchen hot and the bathroom hot would start running and would not stop. even when kitchen was stopped.
I just changed the hot tap internals seemed be a fault with the spindle part. you really had to screw the bathroom down to prevent this happening
