Hi all,

I installed the toilet myself about 4 years ago and everything seems to work well except for the toilet outlet with which the drainage pipe makes a very tight angle so I joined them with a flexible plastic pipe. The plastic pipe broke in the middle erosionated by all the stuff going through for 4 years and made quite a mess. Is there a better option rather than the flexible pipe which has obviously a short live?

No reason why it should of failed after only 4 yrs unless it was a cheap one.

give us a pic of the layout ?

Check that it has just split & has not been chewed.
If it's split as said above was a cheap stiff connector, if it's been chewed then get some rat poison down.

This is the best picture I could take. As you can see the space is quite narrow and fitting a PVC pipe may be complicated for me. The flexible pipe was bought in Travis Perkings for around £15 and was just cracked and one day suddenly after flushing, leaked quite a lot.

Mmmm, yes i saw those but they are normally too long for the distance between both pipes which is minimum. I may try the first one though.
Thanks

The second one can be cut to the length you want.
the black rubber seal comes off.
