Wooden Built extension off side of house

I am new to this forum and I am looking for some help if at all possible please.

My wife and I are looking to build a timber built extension to the side of our house the measurements are L 5.4 mtr and W 2.4mtr the height wil be just over 2mtr

If you imagine a L we will be using 2 exterior walls of the house and will build a frame around them. Inside the extension we will have a window and 2 doors aswell as frenchdoors (that are already in the lounge) and another door (already in the kitchen) I have read the terms on the planning website and from what I gather you don't need permission as long as it fits in certain guidelines.

However we are a bit stumped about this

I was hoping to clad it in plastic clip cladding and plasterboard the insides? do you know what is acceptable for use for the exterior?

Any advice would be greatly received.

Ah I see, I understand now. No I am not on any special land other than my own here are the detailed measurements:

Width - 2.4 mtr
Length- 5.2 mtr
Height - 2.2 mtr

Timber construction with plasterboard foil back insulated walls and coritherm roof.

With Corotherm it may be interesting getting it through Building Regs especially if your total glazing area exceeds 25% of the floor area.

With regards to external materials you are directed to page 29 condition A3a, unless your existing house is clad in white plastic cladding (assuming that's what you're thinking) you'll be expected to match your existing materials.

I have been looking at made to measure roofs I am leaning towards the edwardian hip roof. They use 16mm polycarbonate sheeting. Do you think that will be ok?

Is this a conservatory or an extension? If its an extension you need to have a look at this thread //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=266263 before you get too carried away with polycarb 'glazing'. Its not really designed for extensions tbh more conservatories and greenhouses and not a chance in hell of 16mm complying would need to go to 25mm at least.
