Hi
I have repalced a faulty honeywell mid pos valve and during installation a red wire came out so i traced back and put it in where i thought it should go and everything seemed to work well until customer called saying heating comes on when it wants and doesnt shut off
the wiring all goes back to airing cupboard and is crammed inside a single socket patress box so its hard to locate which wire goes where im going back today and maybe re-wire it into a proper wiring center but was wondering if you nice chaps had a tip finding which wire is which. I was thinking of maybe removing each wire from their terminals in turn and joining them at one end then checking them for continuity with multimeter at other end
Thanks in advance
(sorry for long post )
