"It's cheap for a reason, totally useless no power
batteries die immediately, may be OK for drilling cake"

they remove the very bad ones

I'm pretty miffed at the corded one I bought, I'm not in the trade but heavy DIY-er.

Used it very little for drilling mostly taking walls down and the clutch went.

I have been doing lots of looking up on SDS cordless drills in recent times and have noticed that this erbauer drill is actually available by other cheap brands too. Draper, Macallister, Erbauer, one other cheapo brand that has it in green all do the same drill.

So if you really want it, go on b&q website and go to their corded sds drill section (yes corded as they made a hash of putting it in the wrong section) you can get the £200 Erbauer now reduced to £149 online for £75

Personally would stay well clear

Bosch 36v is the way to go for this kind of work, with two batteries of course, and the proper version not the compact one
