Guys,

Need to know the general heights of materials required to construct an interal floor with insulation for inside my conservatory.
I am considering screed or a floating floor.
I was under the impression of 100mm hardcore,DPM (what thickness)150mm Concrete, 100mm Celotex, then either screed approx 65mm or floating floor.

Your thoughts welcomed

100mm clean compacted hard core.

25-50mm sand blinding also compacted.

1200g polythene dpm.

100mm concrete slab.

80mm celotex.

75mm screed.

There are just shy of 2 billion posts on this very subject all contained within the search facility.

Thanks.
I obviuosly didnt look hard enough :)
But, on top of the Celotex - could I not just build a floating floor? in place of the screed

of course you can..
just go with what you want to do...

far simpler....

I was looking for advice from someone who may point me in the right direction.
Sarcasm doesn't really do that.. does it?

Yes you can construct a floating floor on top of your insulation boards.
