Whoever is liable, if your still alive and uninjured, thank yourselves lucky.

Too many impatient drivers do this passing a Bus or a H.G.V. and are no longer here.

It is illegal to undertake (and all the bikers that go up the middle in stationary traffic are also committing an offence in undertaking stationary traffic - although no one seems to do squat about it).
As far as this chap goes he is at fault I'm afraid - you shouldn't even overtake a vehicle turning left (even if the road is clear) you should slow down and wait for the vehicle to complete it's manoeuvre and therefore safe to pass.

The highway code stipulates undertaking is required in many instances, approach to and on roundabout, in one way system, where outer lanes are stationary or slow moving , filtering left at traffic lights where they have separate control.

I've been in the same situation. Vehicle ahead, indicates left, but pulls right, to enter thru a small entry...then hits you, undertaking...but they were wrong, as they pulled wide. IE like a motorbike that left an indicator on. A differential movement of the vehicle, that makes no initial attempt at the final manoevere, that they don't see, thus making an illegal manouvere. I won. It was a cash van, and lots of police turned up, immediately. And gave the other driver a right dressing down. It's called dangerous driving.

More rubbish. there is nothing illegal about indicating left and taking a wide turn to enter a tight opening. It's difficult for large or long vehicles to judge what others are doing. Only fool passes a vehicle on the inside when that vehicle has it's left indicator on.

Quite agree with you nickso.
As i said on page 1 i done exact the same thing in a 8 wheel tipper took it wide into a school entrance and a women came up the inside then i pushed her into the railings.
She didn't come off winning on her court appearance. ;)
 
But in both cases stated, it wasn't a long vehicle that required a large turning circle.

So, what would you have them do? Indicate right, pull out, then indicate left and make their turn? Oh, right, you've foolishly started to undertake them, can't see their indicators, and they've just turned into you.

Here's a strange idea: Slow down and let vehicles turn, rather than assuming you know what they're doing and carrying on.

Well, in my case, he actually speeded up, pulled across a dual carriageway, from 1 lane into 2, then into 3, as there was a right hand turn off...and there was 2 witnessess there, and the police immediately turned up, as it was a security van, and another security van turns up, and they all had on board video, and I was found no guilty on all counts at the time, I later got a job with the company that crashed into me, and met the driver of the other vehicle, who stated to me, "Yes it was my fault, I broke the law, I was stupid, I didn't see you, I was on the phone, I wasn't paying attention, I was speeding, I couldn't make the turn anyway, it was my fault entirely"....as the video footage proved at the time, so which part of my incident, do you not believe to be correct Monkeh? It was the Standish turn off for the M6 motorway, and he was attempting to go into the local BP station I think it was, if you want to post a map up? Maybe I'll get the guy to ring you up, to confirm, but he left the company, he was shot, and injured in a raid. And I was made redundant after £53 million went missing. Do you need any more evidence?
