Hi, Just a quick question.
the bathroom floor is approx 2.5 m2 with good floor boards. i don't really want to raise the floor by the height of wbp then the tile but really do want to tile it. Is there another way round tiling the floor of should I look at another option?
thanks
Alan

Your floor boards will move. You will need to ply the floor, or remove the floor boadrs and use ply.

As stated, floor boards must be over boarded before tiling. You will need either minimum 12mm WBP or a quality tile backer board, fixed through into the joists not just to the floorboards. One way of maintaining a reasonable threshold height is to replace the floor with 18-25mm WBP; actual thickness you need will depend on your floor joists size/pitch/span
