I was just watching peppa pig...... erm i mean it was on in the background and Grandad Pig was building a house for the Wolf Family.

He didnt dig foundations and fill them with concrete!

He built the wall straight onto the grass!

And at no point did Mr Rabbit the BCO come round an inspect...!

I would assume that building regs have been totally disregarded.......

Then Mr Wolf started questioning what Daddy Pigs house was made of... He replied Bricks (and dont even think about it Mr Wolf).....

Surely Pigs houses are made from corugated Iron!!!

Now when my 6 year old is sitting her chartered engineer interview what if she gets confused.......

Did you see the one where the dad pig was driving the bus without a seatbelt and floored it in reverse with a bus load of passengers on board?

Was about 3 weeks ago. (Erm was watching it in the background too!)

Prepare yourself Alarm...when the grandchildren come on the scene you have to do a full re-run.

Don't worry Rob, by then education will have been dumbed down so much and 'elf & safety will deem it dangerous to dig in the soil for fear of infectious diseases that foundations won't be allowed.

Just get them trained up quickly. When they're pikies, they can do what they want. They won't need any kind of permission, planning or otherwise. ;)

When I was a kid (1970s), I really enjoyed watching cartoons, some of which must have been made decades before I was born. Examples include, Tom And Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales, Top Cat, Hong Kong Fooey, Scooby Doo, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Sylvester The Cat, Mickey Mouse, etc, etc.

These don't seem to appear on terrestial any more. Can kids watch them on some satellite/digital channel? Seems a shame that kids miss out on these cartoons, that were made by some of the best cartoonists and voice-over people of their time.
