New build plumbing/heating

Hi all

Im a heating engineer of to many years to mention.
But belive it or not Im undertaking my first quotation for 2 new bulids.
does anyone have any tips on pricing or is it just a case of counting every fitting ???

I wouldn`t worry about pricing - I`d worry about getting the money and not having half the kit nicked from the house

just use common sense with the price and estimate the fittings, build in a good margin for being messed about with wasted time on site. Make sure you have a written contract covering the payment schedules and extras that will crop up. Have a clear written understanding in contract that once its screwed to the wall /fitted it becomes the developers responsibillity. Building sites are prime targets for being robbed at the moment, you do not want to be buying everything twice.
