Monobloc tap problem

New to the forum but looks like I might be in the right place for some help.

I recently had a new kitchen and utility installed, and had a monobloc tap installed in both (same tap).

The tap in the utility works fine and the flow rate when switched between full hot and full cold is about the same and more than satisfactory. However, it's a different story in the kitchen. Switch the tap to full cold and it's pretty powerful (far more so than in utility - no more than eight feet away) but switch it to hot and it's pathetic.

Plumber on kitchen installation team says the pipes are too narrow (10mm) but they are the same in utiity and that works fine. Is there a setting on the taps that hasn't been adjusted? Anything else I can do?

I am not a plumber or heating engineer, but don't these taps connect to the main pipe via a braided flexible pipe? if so one may be twisted, what happens if you swop them around?

They do indeed but there doesn't appear to be a twist or kink in the connectors.

Try swapping first, braid connectors, then the taps, and see if the problem moves.
