sloping ceiling

i am papering a bedroom and at one end of the room the ceiling slopes down, i am going to paper this as if it was the wall i.e. just going from floor to ceiling with the wallpaper, my question is should i try to hang the paper in one go or should i treat the places where it goes from vertical to the slope as a corner i.e. go round slightly then over paper, if i do this i have the added problem of trying to match the pattern. not sure if i have explained it very well but hope someone can understand

I think I get it. The drawing is the wall you want to paper.

I would do the top vertical bit and the horizontal bit in one piece of paper.

And the remaining, lower section in another piece of paper.

I would do the larger, lower section first, ensuring the pattern is level with any other walls you have papered.

I would then do the top section, again ensuring the pattern on the short vertical bit is level with any other walls you have papered.

Obviously the pattern won't match at that internal corner near the top, but that doesn't matter at all.

Don't understand why people are so confused with the explanation.

Theres only two ways to tackle this. One piece or sparkwight's suggestion.
I would try this in one piece. This will ensure the pattern matches. Just make sure you use plenty of paste and spend more time than normal brushing the paper to ensure you have full contact will the walls in all places.

The confusion stems from the fact that a Decorator would not be able to give the correct advice based both on the advice and scribble of which has been offered, and with regard to using plenty of paste, lets just hope that the op doesn't intend to hang perhaps a handprint or flock.

I think trying to paper round that lot in ONE PIECE could be proplematic, as the corners and bends will no doubt be out of true and the paper will end up crooked and badly fitting.

What lot, all I can see is a pencil scribe, how on earth can advice be offered with regard to the hanging of any wallcovering over something that cannot be seen. Let alone the the type of wallpaper/covering that the op intends to hang, furthermore does it have a pattern repeat, and if so, is it perhaps a free, set, or drop match pattern. Also is it paintable.

Why not paint the 90 degree angle in with the ceiling and paper the rest?

ok ive taken a pic to try to explain the prob, although my drawing isnt great it does look like a profile of the room, anyway hopefully the pic will show it better, it doesnt matter about the type of paper, actually its viynl but all im afetr is a bit of help with how to hang it, 1 piece.....so many corners to go round it will run out, more than one piece .......how then do you match the pattern without the jjoins showing up, i cant believe that this is such an unusual situation.
