Just beento see a job where the clients recentlybfitted boiler had four 135 elbows plus 2 90 elbows out side. Is there a limit for how many bends u can have?
Thanks :?:

We can't discuss gas advice here, but there is, of course, a limit to the number of bends. It differs to some degree with each boiler, but it is all explained ion the MI's.

You can't normally use standard bends outside.

Why were you there?

That works out at around 4 metres off the allowable flue length ,some boilers do not count the first elbow onto boiler connection.
So depends on what the allowable flue length is for that particular boiler

Should have been clearer there are 4x 45 degree elbows inside and 2x 90 elbows out side. Dont worry I was there to price an extension. It just didnt look right to me. They have just bought the place and dont have a cert, although they where told its a new boiler

Suggest tio them that they google the mke nd model, and they will probably find instructions on makers website, for details.
