I’m in the process of replacing the heating element in my fan-assisted oven and have removed two screws holding this in place. Where I expected to find the third screw the hole seems to be sealed off (no screw) and I cannot remove the element as it seems to be attached somehow to this part. I don’t want to force the issue and was wondering if anyone had come across this before. The oven, Neff, is about 25 years old and the heating element has disintegrated! Thanks.

You really need to post the model details/E-number to get a response.
Which element are you talking about?...ring, grill, or under element?? Which screws did you remove...two at the back??
If it is a ring element have you removed the back-plate from the inside the oven???

Thanks. Got it sorted now - had to take oven out and remove back cover as the heating element around the fan is held with two screws which you can remove from inside the oven, AND an additional bolt which is only accessible from the back.
