micra will not start

engine management light is coming on, car is coming on starter motor is turning over but nothing from the engine PLZZZZ HELP
av got spark petrol pump is working, all plug and HT LEADS ARE GOOD STILL no joy any more sugguestions PLLLLZZZZZZZZ

When you turn the ignition on, you should hear a humming noise as the fuel pump starts up (lasts around 3 seconds).....its actually beneath the rear seat cushion - or at least the tank is.
Any noises?

year of micra and engine size/code??

has it been difficult to start for a while or just happened?

could be a stretched timing chain. need more details.

year 2000 nd there was nothing wrong when parked it up no signs there was any problems started 1st time every time, well looked after serviced up to date thats why am confused if a had any warning something was wrong it would have been sorted straight away just worried that a could have been miles away from home stopped the car nd for it not to start again,,,, new years things to do ,,,,, join the AA lol
