I Can not start my 1.3 cdti combo van. My battery light came on suggesting that i had alternator fault, i continued using van because it still started and was working fine, as i arrived at work one morning the battery had no power left and all dash board lights came on no electric power steering etc. I changed alternator and recharged the battery, engine turns over but there's no fuel coming through to injectors, Any help from anyone who may know the reasons for this would be greatly apprecated, Thanks.

its worth a shot to disconnect the battery for around 30 mins and then reconnect, lock and unlock the car and see what happens.
I dont think any fuses would have gone but check them too

dare i say it, probably not a faulty alternator. wiring fault would be my educated guess. very, very common, usually chafed wiring above gearbox.

see my previous post about fiat doblo, its essentially the same motor.

i am an autospark by the way, seen this too many times.

has it had a clutch recently? engine hanging on harness a usual cause of problems.
best of luck
