Peeling wallpaper and cracked ceiling.

Hello guys... when i moved to the house, it was nice and ok, but after months i started noticing some cracks in the ceiling.

There is a crack in the ceiling above the stairs. Above that ceiling is the loft, where there is old insulation material and wool like stuff. the crack is shaped as if there is a wood bar above it... i mean like sstraightline from the wall on the right to the left.

There is another issue with the wallpaper. The living room wallpaper starting to peel away, as if the are dry.
in the bathroom ceiling i noticed the ceiling paper if i may call it, is peeling as well.

what are the causes for the issue above? and how can i fix them?

Cracks in ceiling often occur with movement or water damage on joist joints.
Do you know what surface material the plaster is laid on? ie plasterboard or lath.
You will need to investigate further options are:
1) secure surface, tape joint cracks then further options are fill out or blend in plaster or over skim whole ceiling
2) overboard and skim
3) rip the lot out and start again
Wallpaper on bathroom ceiling, not a good environment for wallpaper. Condensation likely cause.
Resolving issues would involve in removing wallpaper and have painted ceiling.
Reduce condensation, open window, time delay fan, good insulation and vapour check ceiling, lag any exposed pipe work.
