hi all, i laid a floor using 20mm hardwood engineered boards on a floating floor and made the biggest mistake possible by nailing them down so now they creek like mad when you step on them , can anybody give me some surgestions how to stop them creeking with out taking them up, i also layed the same boards in another room with out nailing and its a dream to walk on, all advise welcomed, cheers mick

hi crazydaze, the floor was level and not loose or uneven just like the one floor that i did without nailing, all floors were layed on special sticky one side under lay which we got with the boards
