Coming of Age

I was 16 and living in a Hostel with 60 other lads when we decided to have a party so we could get to meet some girls.
The food was buns and jelly/blancmange things and I was in charge of the bar and food because I had never drunk. However, I did have a few glasses of cider and found myself stealing the cherries off the deserts and blowing the pips at everybody.

I realised in my younger days that drinking wasn't my forte when my girlfriend beat me in a drinking contest. I drank 7 pints in a session to her 8.

With the exception of Lou who (perhaps to his credit) admits to acting outside the law, nobody seems to have been involved in illegal or highly antisocial behaviour during their inebriate states

Perhaps the mist's of time have allowed us to forget. ;)

I remember meeting up for a drink with some old friends when I was in my twenties. After getting seriously drunk at the pub, I went back to my parents house where I was staying the night.

After falling into bed, I decided I needed water. i looked at the clock and it was 12.05. I went down each stair one at a time (Iwas feeling really sick by this time). I eventually got to the bottom of the fourteen stairs and looked at the clock in the kitchen.

It was now 1.05.

I'll never know what happened to that hour

Big sisters 18th, little bro (14) me decided to consume party 7's chesse footballs and anything else going. Big sis decides to walk me round street before parents find out. I have a serious chunder all over the neighbours Triumph Vitesse. Unfourtunatly for the neighbour it was a convertible with the roof down. They never did find the culprit, very sorry Mr Gilham.

If we've been in a public place whilst drunk, we have been involved in an illegal act.
