sounds like a control problem rather than the boiler. Have you got motorised valves?

would motorised valves be the rectangular yellow box with honeywell written on it? we dont have the instructions, boiler was here when we moved in.

If its a yellow box attached to wall, not that bit. Is this in the airing cupboard. You are looking for rectangular box attached to pipe. Could be one or two, come in various colours.

-thanks again.....can get boiler to fire up for hot water....if left on ch only, it fires up sporadically, but no heat going through to the radiators....the pump is on, but seems very hot....can not find motorised valve....unless that is what i think is pump (big screw in middle)

its a 2port valve, lever at position B. pUMP working and fan appears to kick in, just o heat to rads

At one end of the valve there is a lever.

Wiggle it and see which one will move the LEAST !

Pull that one's lever towards the slot and notch it into the slot.

Wait a few minutes and you MIGHT get heating.

BUT, in theory you will only get heating while its still heating the water.

Your boiler is a Netaheat 10-16 by the way.
