Giving evidence in court

Like I said a shirt and trousers a minimum. Personally I would chose a suit.
plain shirt and tie, nothing too snazzy
Shoes shining.
Clean shaven.

It is a court after all and your also being judged on how you look either as a witness or a defendant. Fair or unfair that is how it works.

I have to go as a character witness soon. A suit and clean appearance is essential in this. As for any appearance in my book.

Every one thinks you should dress up smart

Somebody needs to tell the judge that wearing clowns gown and a flea bitten wig looks pathetic. Were in 2012 for god sake.

He is the one laughing on £600 a hour.
I would dress like that for that money :D

The prosecution will give you a copy of your statement to the police (before the trial begins) to refresh your memory of what you said to them. Remember this so that you answer any questions according to your original story.

If your a decent person and haven't told lies, then you don't need to read that statement, (bet he reads it) :D

I've now got images of Paul Calf standing there, sleeves of his suit rolled up etc from all the advice posted up what to wear...
If it's on CCTV why haven't they plead guilty by now?

They plead not guilty until it gets to court, then change their plea to guilty on the day. Just to waste everybody's time and money. The guy I was giving evidence against was on trial TWICE today for theft charges. New years day he robs my shop, 8th of Jan he robs the Tesco oposite the court, gets caught by the instore security with about £150 of cosmetics. Scumbags.

Do twice as long. :roll

Well don't know about twice as long.
But then they have it on cctv.

Never been up in court with cctv against me
Bit different when they've only witnesses to say what you've done then it's their word against your solicitor.
