Joist span issue

Hello,

I have just removed a chimney breast from my kitchen up to the loft, and now have a hole in my floor where the breast used to be.

I need to fit 2 new joists and floorboards to fill the gap.

Now the original joists in the kitchen ceiling are 175x75, 400 centres, and of a 4.87m span.

But if I follow the up to date trada span table, for the 4.87 span i need, I require my new joists to be 220x75 C24. This would give me a level problem with regards to my original ceiling joists.

So what options do I have to address the levels? Do I build up the original joists with 45mm batons? Fit 3 175x75 joists at 200 centres? or could I use something like an I Beam, not sure if I could get them made of a 175 depth

wasnt the breast trimmed?
if so just install new joists between the trimmers on jiffys.

No it wasnt trimmed, it was a strange breast that didnt go just straight up, it shifted to the right about a metre between the floor/ceiling divide, with an extra pilar in the kitchen.

The joist closest to the wall is supported on the brickwork corbelling out of the wall, and the 2nd joist was sat on the chimney brickwork

Its always a strange breast that not only goes straight up but shifts to he right.
