Hi everybody, first post so be gentle! :D

Am currently renovating my first house so will be needing some help and advice no doubt in the coming months!

As the title suggests, which aggregate have any of you guys used in the past? have been suggested mot type 1 but the 'fines' make it drain less well. the mot type 3 has reduced 'fines' ( basically anything up to 4mm has been sieved out) but seems not many use this..

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Keith.

Sorry, I realise I've been a bit vague.

Basically I've dug up a soil floor of internal downstairs bathroom and hallway as the floors were damp. I've dug down 18 inches and am wanting to put a damp course in.
