extra spurs

I have a extention built on the back of my house the question is how many extra spures can i take off an existing spur from my living room socket, is it possible for me to put in 8 extra sockets fron there.

None, unless the original spur is fed via an FCU, in which case as many as you want, but the total load is limited to 13A.

Anyone notice the OP's location? He says it's Cuba. Perhaps that is why Ring, Radial, FCU and other such expressions are causing difficulty, especially as English may not be his first language!

Hi Bob

I have worked in the Caribbean Islands and South America.
If you are in Cuba, no one has asked you the right question yet.

Are you on the Yank system with 110v and 220v Flat pin outlets. Not the Brit 32amp ring main, with 13amp fused plugtops.

The Yank code is totaly different to the Brit regs.

I have an old copy of the code somewhere, and this might help illuminate the issue.
