Hi
Desperate for some advice. I have just stripped the wallpaper off the kitchen walls.

I was aware that the newish PVC door put in 2 years ago did have some gaps.

However, removing the wallpaper has changed the "some" gaps to "complete gap" around the whole of the door frame. The fitters have been very liberal with caulk filler!!.

What good filler can I use to repair the damage and ensure that I do not have to re-done this job again, during my life time.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi Graham,
One thing you might find good to use in this instance is the Gripfill in the 'Yellow' tube. It is solvent free, sticks to PVC as well as all the usual substrates and it can be painted. Never got on with the green tube sticks all builders stuff but this one is ok. Keep several tubes of it on my van all the time for indoor jobs. It does shrink a bit sometimes depending on the job but give it a go around the frames, allow to dry overnight, then cover again if needs be.[/i]

Many thanks Oldgreymouse. Will get what you recommend from screwfix tomorrow.
