Going to attempt to tile a small kitchen floor over the weekend.

I've removed the existing tiles but they have left behind a fair bit of adhesive stuck to the concrete below

Do I need to either chisel this all off or cover it with a levelling compound or can I just go ahead and tile -- but attempt to use more adhesive on the parts where the old adhesive has been liffted ??

Bearing in mind I'm assuming the tiling job be far easier with a flat surface to begin with, and will reduce the chances of tiles sinking / cracking

Any advice ?

Get as much off as you can.....if its to much off a b. h...then use a slc latex over it then tile....
Don't forget to take kick spaces off and trim down to suite ..
