where are the thermostats on a hotpoint cdt00p dryer

Hope this is not a really stupid question, but i cant find the two thermostats
on the above dryer, normally they are close to the heating element, when i take off the back shield i see the heating element but no thermostats

can someone please help me in telling me where they are in the machine

They are on top of the element. Remove the 2 screws on the rear cover.
