So let's see if I've got this right. You despised them for being 'slags', for that is surely a derogatory term, but you 'shagged' them anyway. They can't have been all that bad then. Maybe, out of desperation, you were scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel. I can understand that; I've got a long memory.

Or was it the other way round? Was it the fact that you were able to 'shag' them that prompted you to label them as slags, thereby perpetuating the insidious lie that only 'bad' women make good lovers. That kind of attitude blighted the lives of generations of women and didn't do us men any favours either.

A slag is someone you have sex with for a night no emotional connection a wife is someone who you connect with and have sex with for life, possibly kids etc a genuine partner.

Maybe im old fashioned but I dont want that person to be the local bike.

If my limited knowledge of history is correct, the first example was about nine centuries ago - and they called themselves Christians!

Sad but still true and, as I implied way back in this thread, they're rooted in our proto-human past. That's not to say they can't be changed though. Like I said in a different thread, maybe men will start treating women as equals when it dawns on them that you don't get high grade sex any other way.

Then again, some of them don't really care.

I'm reminded of somebody I knew from my student days who had a very simplistic view of women. He had no understanding of love whatsoever - that was something that only existed in fiction - but he was very much in favour of marriage, for how else could you be sure that a woman would still be there when you got home from work each day? And what did he expect from a wife? His tea cooked, his socks washed and "a quick shag once a fortnight"! Maybe he married the supervisor from the hotel laundry. They certainly deserved each other.

I for one missed the US/UK troops in Iraq and Afghanistan holding up placards saying "Christianity will Dominate."
and the ever popular "Death to all non believers."
Yet we see people hiding their faces at protest marches in the UK holding up placards saying "Islam will Dominate." and the ever popular "Death to all non believers."
I have yet to see Muslim protesters in the USA holding up such placards....... Wonder why?

If this was an isolated case I could maybe see your point, but it's very far from that. I haven't heard of any Chinese paedo rings in this country, nor Black ones, nor Indian nor any from any other minority group apart from Pakistanis.
