western union help

Big-all, I trust , your son didn't send you an email saying he'd make you beneficiary of a box containing $25,000,000 US Dollars, and needed the £200 for advance payments?
If so he'll send another one saying you now need to pay £1000 for insurance and clearance certification, done through his lawyer ( a certain Mr Barr Andrew Lawrence (man of integrity) )

poor sod second to last day in ibiza on a 7 day venture machine swallows his card [remote machine] so mate lends him half his remaining funds so they have tomorrow and wednesday till midnight before the flight with little or no money so must take the risk lol

big all, I don't know what web page you were on...and in all fairness, it might be different here in the states. It's simple to do online (here) it's called money in minutes..you type out the receivers name/city/and phone number, you pay with either a debit or credit card, and when you logged in--you had to give your email address--you will receive an email confirming the transaction, along with the MTCN (transaction number) to share with the receiver. It's easier when you know that number when you go to pick up the money but if you don't have it, they use the personal information given on the form--which is why I said exact (as on ID)..it matters.
I've had some really nice dingbats at the store who swear blind I don't have anything...give the MTCN number and lo and behold...oh dear...it's the UK, not the Ukraine
hope this helps!

when i got the page i phoned the number on the contact us link and asked if he could bypass this section and his answer was unfortunately not

anyway found a shop 5 mins away who where very helpful it cost a bit more than on line because they have a nice selection of bobbys crisps

Huge apologies big-all!
I don't think it was just you or anything that you were doing incorrectly. The easy way has gone out the window...as it usually does. I went online as usual to send money and realized their web page had changed slightly in appearance. I almost completed the process, but encountered a 'new' requirement to how I wanted them to contact me to verify my identification (never had that before) so I chose by phone but there was no where to enter a number or type 'home' (number is in my profile). So I contacted them by phone and although the person on the other end was terribly nice, not helpful at all. She did not seem to comprehend there was an issue with the website. She offered to send the money via phone....but it's a fee of $20 MORE than it would be online or in person.
I won't be utilizing their website ...anytime in the future. I did complain but I don't know what difference if any it made. Again, sorry for the... as it turns out...wrong information

no apology remotely necessary you gave in good faith as best you knew :D :D ;)
