mondeo central locking again

unplugged 3 module plugs under the drivers side footwell they plugged into a black box or is it the silver one behind .took keys into ford garage and key seems fine its the 2 button one with light on the end,any help appreciated ford wanted 29 pound for half hour,what tests can be done or can i reset it somehow

thanks dez you helped me out with other prob

1.put key in ign and turn to posistion 1
2.wait for red light on clock to come on(10-20 secs)
3.remove key and get out of car,shut door and point key 2 inchs away from the little window on the outside door handle
4.press the front button down and wait for red light to flash on key
5.keep front button pressed and press back button 4 times
6.release both buttons
7.key light and clock light should both flash
9.turn ignition on and off
