Hi.

Well took the plunge today. scratch coat is on. not the best i have ever seen but passable so far. i dont think i am allowed to advertise or plug on this site but there is a man in leicestershire that does ty mawr premix for 5.50 a bag inc vat pm me for details.

I can see the steam whistling out of joes ears. Too many people have told me that lime is the right way to sort this wall. the man from travis perkins who said i should seal it and concrete rang me back and said he was wrong and lime was the way to go.

i can see both sides of your argument and after quite alot of reading lime does seem to make sense.

after all if it doesnt work its not the end of the world is it?
