Hello, was wondering if any one could help?
I am going to build a raised garden bed retaining wall for a flower bed, as you can see from the picture the back of the wall will be 15 m long, the flowerbeds will be spilt into 3 sections of around 5 meters long. Each section will be 1 block higher and around 0.2 m wider as it goes down the garden. The first section will be 1.5 blocks tall, then 2.5 blocks then 3.5 blocks( it wont be a tall wall)
What i need to know is;
- will it be ok if i do this using single blocks or will it need to be 2 blocks thick? any advice on what type of block to use?
- Do i need expansion gaps, if so where would you put them?

Obviously on the view from above the black line indicates where the blocks will be!
