Hi

I have a T25S76N0 Neff 5 burner hob, and the ignition on the wok burner has stopped working. It works fine for the other 4 rings, and the ignition 'ticks' when I press the wok burner knob, like it should, but there is just no spark generated at the wok burner.

It's all clean and dry, as far as i can tell.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you

It could be a few things, the ignition generator may be faulty or the electrode may be cracked or the ignition lead may have broken or slipped off the electrode lead.Sometimes it`s just a matter of repositioning the burner.
If you have a small electrical screwdriver(the type which lights up when touching a live wire)you could try holding it on the end of the electrode and seeing if it flashes. That would mean the generator should be ok and it would be the lead or the electrode.
Whatever it is,you`ll probably need a gas safe engineer to rectify it as it would require at least a partial dismantle to repair.
Cheapest option is to buy a hand held igniter.
