Hi i'm new to this! Hope i'm doing it right!

I have a galaxy 16plus installed by ADT and it has been working great for about 6 years.
Then all of a sudden it doesn't set fully, you can do a part set with B ent and all ok but A ent makes a loud continuous sound and doesn't ever stop!! or set

Does anyone have any ideas as ADT want a mini fortune to come have a look!
Cheers

do you have a door contact on your entry door ? if so it may be stuck and the setting option may be for final door set try setting alarm on full then tap the door contact then close the door and see what happens

If the tapping fails, then change the contact. If you do not untwist the tamper pair in the contact you can do this yourself. There will be four wires two twisted two separate.
Make an error you WILL need an engineer.

Be careful not to touch any of the wires together or you will blow a fuse in the panel which will also need an engineer and as mentioined if you untwist the two wires the alarm will set off due to detecting a tamper state and you may then need an engineer reset
