Does this condensor drier not have a microswitch on top of the internal water collecting box. It is acivated by float switch that rises up and cuts off power to heater. Accessible, just by removing left panel- viewed from rear.,

I was about to ask float related question. Will check and report back

Was now pricing replacement tumble dryers. Decided to have another go at it. Made a drawing on paper of wire runs from heater. Blue and light blue wires go into a connector to change to grey and blue wires (partial heat and full heat wires)
Put couple of washed towels and ran machine till heating cut out. Orange and light blue wires had power (checked with power pen for presence of mains voltage) at the beginning to now have no power. Orange connects to blue-white wire and terminates on door switch then to neutral.
Blue wire from heater changes to black-white wire. This wire goes to front sensor then to PCB. Power was not coming out of the PCB. Removed PCB and examined same. Soldered (heater) relay coil tags (solder cracked). Machine has since done three loads.
My thanks and gratitude go to all the chaps who offered help. Can assure the non helpers, I am not here to steal work from white goods repair persons. As a heating engineer, if someone needs genuine help, assistance is given with provisos. Such an example is to be found in following link (jj4091 please note) ;)
